Telstra Bigpond Versus Exetel ADSL Plans

See the table below for price and inclusion differences between Telstra Bigpond and Exetel.

At every level from price savings to contract periods to what each ISP offers customers Exetel offers outstanding value.

I have been an ADSL, then a telephone/ADSL2+ customer of Exetel’s since the early days of Exetel’s existence. On top of the benefits referred to above I have found, as have customers of mine, that Exetel is a reliable ADSL Broadband service.

Access your Email via your ISPs Webmail Service

Whether travelling, not having access to your home computer, or not being able to access your email via a mobile device (e.g. a Smartphone), you can still access your email via your Broadband providers webmail address or through generic providers such as Mail2Web (http://www.mail2web.com).

Typically all you need is your full email address and password, and then you can send and receive email wherever you have Internet access. Remember, if you wish to have your email in your email program (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunerbird, Eudora etc )on your home PC do not delete the mail from the mail servers.

Other alternatives are using your web-based email such as Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo to access your POP3 ISP email and/or have your ISP POP3 email forwarded to your web-based email address.

Webmail access web addresses for a number of ISPs:
